  Minimum qualification and experience: • A recognised three-year tertiary qualification in Accounting or Economic Sciences or related field with five to ten years’ experience, of which two years should have been at least at managerial level with a supply chain perspective • A valid driver’s licence.

Knowledge: • The public sector and its regulatory and legislative framework • Financial and supply chain management principles, methodologies, policies and procedures • Public sector financial and supply chain management reporting requirements • Proven experience in financial and/or supply chain compliance testing, preferably in the public sector • The WALKER financial management, BAS and LOGIS systems.

Competencies and skills: • Proven interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication in English (communication and information management) • Customer focus and responsiveness • The ability to develop others • The ability to manage interpersonal conflict and resolving problems • Planning and organising • Proven computer literacy, including advanced MS Word, Excel and MS PowerPoint • Proven report-writing and presentation skills.

Key performance areas, inter alia, include: • SCM performance monitoring framework formulation and management • SCM systems and control assessment coordination and management • SCM intervention management and monitoring • Reporting • Division administration, management and control.
