Junior Metallurgist

Concentrator Department
In this role, the incumbent will conduct Research and Development work, compile literature studies as well as technical reports and perform metallurgical routine work. He/she will also conduct PTOs and comply with the 17 Sustainable Development Standards. The successful candidate will be expected to work to set deadlines within set budgets and liaise closely with a dynamic team.A recognised National Higher Diploma or tertiary degree in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering is needed for this position. No work experience is required, but in-service training experience in a Platinum mining environment will be advantageous with specific exposure to a concentrator. Computer literacy (MS Office), excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with very strong organisational and good report-writing skills. The ability to work independently, but also in a team completes the profile.
