Four-year old child electrocuted
Rustenburg – A four-year old child was electrocuted on Thursday 11 October at Stoomhuis informal settlement, Marikana.
Police spokesperson captain Elsabé Augoustides told Platinum Weekly that it is believed the child was electrocuted while touching a wired fence in the yard. “Investigations revealed that the electrocution resulted from an illegal power connection from a nearby transformer.”
