An inspirational message from Nqobile Sithole

“The role of a Municipal Manager is an incredibly challenging task where I am required to take decisions that will have an impact on the various stakeholders, both internally and externally, and most importantly on the community which I serve. I strive to ensure that the decisions I take and those that are taken by my team are fair, balanced, within the ambits of the law and most importantly that these decisions seek to better the lives of all the stakeholders of Rustenburg Local Municipality.

As I take up this office I seek guidance and solace in the following verses;

Micah 6:8 (NIV)

(8) He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

(11) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
