  EARTHMOVING MECHANIC
Graspan Colliery		        
Requirements:
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Trade Certificate as Earthmoving Mechanic
• At least 8 years’ qualified experience as a qualified Earthmoving Mechanic
• Experience in CAT/Bell/Volvo/Hitachi/Komatsu/Terex - ADTs/excavators/dozers/front-end loaders
• Specialist knowledge of Komatsu/Hitachi hydraulic excavators would be advantageous
• Willingness to work shifts/overtime/standby.

Key responsibilities:
• Maintain abovementioned vehicles to ensure maximum availability and minimal breakdowns
• Breakdowns
• Maintain Health, Safety and Environmental standards throughout the execution of duties.
