Rustenburg/ Phokeng – “The Phokeng Police herewith urges the community to surrender their estate firearms, if they do not have the appropriate authorization or executor’s letter,” Sgt Gabaiphiwe Kgatlha, police spokesperson, said. 
An estate firearm is a firearm, which belongs to a person that has passed away, and now in the possession of his/her family or friends. 

“When surrendering an estate firearm, you must also bring a certified copy of the identity document and death certificate of the deceased. The necessary forms will also be provided, to be filled out,” Kgatlha added.
