Rustenburg – The SAVF (Suid Afrikaanse Vroue Federasie) Rustenburg-branch hosted a romantic Valentines Dance, a fundraising drive in order to buy a vehicle.

“We only have a Corsa and most of the time it doesn’t run, which places us in a difficult spot. We need transport to reach our clientele,” said Sebongile Seswai, one of the social workers at SAVF Rustenburg. “We don’t need anything fancy, just something small to zip us from A-Z.”
The dance was hosted on Tuesday, 14 February 2017, at Kleine Khomas and included a delicious 3-course meal.

Brenda Klopper, one of SAVF’s volunteers, thanked all of the role-players whom without the evening would not have been possible. They are, Kleine Khomas (Bernadine and ‘Tannie’ Ansie) who sponsored the venue, Zelmar for the flowers and decor, City Fire & Safety for the print work and champagne, Jessies for decor, Anchën en Ronnie for the music, Bennie de Beer and Henk Korff for the flower boxes, and Meals on Wheels for the food.
