Housebreak suspect nabbed
Rustenburg/ Freedom Park – The Phokeng Men in Blue nabbed a 33-year old suspect on Wednesday, 8 February 2017, for housebreaking in Freedom Park.
The suspect was arrested for the possession of stolen property, which was stolen from the Omphile Building Construction site in the Platinum Village. “The houses still under construction was the target,” Sgt Gabaiphiwe Kgatlha, police spokesperson, said.
One of the employees at the construction site traced the suspect, after noticing that the items went missing and found the stolen items in the yard of the suspect.
About 106 electrical wires, 2 door frames, 22x5 litre containers Promac paint, one pxd plastic’s, tiles and 40 covered steel cables were recovered.
The suspect appeared before the Bafokeng Magistrates’ Court in Tlhabane on Thursday, 9 February 2017 on charges of possession of stolen property.
