Bringing police services closer to communities
Rustenburg/ Sun City – South African Police Service (SAPS) commander for the Rustenburg cluster, major general Arthur Adams, urged the community of Mabeskraal to play a key role in the fight against crime by working hand in glove with the law enforcement agency.
He made this remarks in Potchefstroom on Thursday 2 May, during the handover of two mobile Community Service Centres (CSC). The centres are expected to help fight crime for communities living in the Madikwe and Mabeskraal areas.
“The police have your best interest at heart. We are here to serve you, which is why we have brought these services to you,” Arthur said. “You used to travel long distances to the Sun City police station to get services. Now, we are much more accessible to you.”
