Fleeing robbers arrested in Bo-dorp 

Rustenburg – Three suspects linked to a house robbery in Tlhabane were arrested at the corner of Marais and Beyers Naudé streets on Friday 6 March. 

Police spokesperson Elsabé Agoustides said police detectives following up on a house robbery case in Tlhabane chased the suspects, who attempted to resist arrest after they were intercepted in the Bo-dorp area.  “Police fired a warning shot while the uncooperative suspects were attempting to evade arrest by refusing to stop their vehicle,” Augoustides said. 

“Nobody was injured or wounded, and the three suspects were successfully apprehended,” she added. 

Police are carrying out further investigations.
