Rustenburg – Grenville High School learners made their teachers feel special by presenting them with gifts and thank you cards on Monday 20 July. This teacher appreciation day was held for 67 minutes, in line with a call by former South African President Nelson Mandela for each of us to play our part in making the world a better place through acts of kindness.

“Our Making A Difference (MAD) society came up with the whole idea,” Grenville High School educator Dina Reiners said. “The learners made small gifts and the messages they wrote on the cards encouraged the teachers. The token of appreciation made their day!”

Heartfelt messages to their teachers.
The gifts were beautifully wrapped.
