BirdLife Rustenburg will be conducting their Summer CWAC (Co-ordinated Waterbird Count) on Saturday 21 January 2017. These counts are held twice a year, in Summer and Winter, and provide vital information on the movements of Waterbirds. This becomes even more important as it is now necessary to learn more about the effects of global warming along with the resultant periods of both drought and flooding.
