Newborn baby and two people killed on N4 

Rustenburg – Three people, including a newborn baby, died in an accident on Monday 10 January. A Toyota bakkie and a truck collided on the N4 near the Buffelspoort exit.

Says ER24 general manager Marchant Jacobs: “The bakkie was heading towards Rustenburg and the truck travelled in the opposite direction.”

A culpable homicide case is being investigated. The Department of Community Safety and Transport Management MEC Sello Lehari appealed to road users to obey the rules of the road and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
