Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) once again call on the community for their help.

They are in need of old teddy bears and soft toys. Many of the animals that come into their kennels are scared and traumatised, and a soft teddy bear gives them somewhat comfort. Another item they added to their list is 1 litre and 2 litre bottles that they plan to fill with pellets and treats as some enrichment for the dogs.

Donations of kitten and cat food as well as tinned food and cat litter is also welcome. If you have a second-hand handling/ landing net with a pole lying around that you can donate or if you would like to sponsor one, they would highly appreciate it.

Donations can be dropped off their office at 11 Eskom Street.
For more information contact the Rustenburg SPCA office on 014 5923181.
