Rustenburg – Learners and educators at Platinum Village Primary School took a stand against bullying on Monday 13 June 2022.

The little ones marched to the school’s sports fields, holding up placards saying, ‘Stand up, speak out, stop bullying’...and ‘We can end bullying’.

By dressing up as superheroes, the educators brought the message home that children who take a stand against bullying are strong, brave and standing up for what is right.

Bullying is very difficult for children to deal with. Platinum Village Primary School departmental head Sharon Ntsime said: ““Let us stand up against bullying. We must all say no to bullying because it is wrong”.

Actress Nazli George, well known for her part in the television series 7de laan paid a surprise visit to the school.  She urged the learners to be superheroes by defending those who become victims of bullying. She encouraged the learners to blow the whistle on any form of bullying.

“You are the superheroes. Report any form of bullying to your teachers and your parents,” she said.
... Parents, help your children by talking to them about what is happening at school.
