Did you know? Ever listened to a voice note and thought, “Do I really sound like that?”

Ever listened to a voice note and thought, “Do I really sound like that?” When you speak, you hear sound travelling through the air and vibrations passing through your skull to your inner ears. This combination can make your voice sound deeper and fuller to you. A recording lacks that internal contribution, so your voice may sound higher or thinner. It is generally closer to what others hear, although microphones and speakers also affect the sound. Your voice hasn’t changed… your way of hearing it has!
