When rescuers need rescuing
ResMed Emergency Medical Services and Netcare 911 attended the scene of an accident involving a fire truck. One firefighter sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – A firefighter sustained moderate injuries in an accident involving a fire truck on Thursday, 22 October 2026, along the Bleskop Road at approximately 10:00. ResMed Emergency Medical Services and Netcare 911 responded to the scene, where one patient required medical attention. The injured firefighter was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment. ResMed wished the firefighter a full recovery.
