Help Us Stop This Serial Phone Snatcher

Rustenburg – I am writing to raise awareness and call for urgent action regarding a dangerous individual who has been terrorising women along the route from the Civic Centre to the N4 offramp, heading toward Waterfall Mall. Since January, this man — dark-skinned and medium in build — has been snatching handbags and cellphones from unsuspecting women, particularly in the mornings and around midday. I’ve personally witnessed his criminal activities on at least three occasions while on my way to work. His method is calculated: he sits casually as if waiting for a taxi, then suddenly attacks. After each theft, he escapes by running under the small bridge at CTM and disappearing into the bushes. Just the other day, we tried to chase him after he attacked another woman, but once again, he vanished under the bridge.

This man is a repeat offender who specifically targets women, and it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt. I urge the authorities to act swiftly and patrol this hotspot more closely.
