Three Lives Lost on N4 Tragedy 

Rustenburg – A devastating motor vehicle accident (MVA) occurred late on Saturday night, 20 September 2025, just before the N4 tollgate entrance into Rustenburg.

At approximately 23:17, Eagle Trauma Rescue EMS teams responded to a serious crash involving two vehicles and a truck. On arrival, responders were met with a heartbreaking scene: three patients had tragically lost their lives, while a fourth patient was found alive but injured. Paramedics immediately began treatment on the injured patient, stabilising him before transporting him to hospital for further medical care.

Eagle Trauma Rescue operational manager Hennie Madeley expressed the team’s sympathy, “We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased during this time of great loss. Our thoughts are also with the injured patient, and we wish him strength and a full recovery.”
