Caroline Werner’s case faces another postponement
Rustenburg – The long road to justice for the late Caroline Werner (31) remains heartbreakingly unfinished. The murder case against Solly “Moya” Molefe (22) — accused of brutally taking her life in September 2022 — has once again been postponed.
According to Sivenathi Gunya, spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the North West division, the matter that was meant to proceed on 14 October 2025 was first postponed to 30 October, and has now been pushed out yet again — to 6 November 2025.
For Caroline’s family, each postponement reopens wounds that have never healed. “Every delay feels like she’s being taken from us all over again,” a Caroline’s mother shared outside court. “We just want justice — nothing more, nothing less.”
Caroline’s vibrant life was cruelly ended near the R24 and Dinie Estates Road nearly three years ago. As her loved ones continue their painful vigil for justice, her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In loving memory of Caroline Werner – a vibrant, joyful soul whose absence leaves an ache in every heart that knew her. Forever missed, never forgotten.
