Caroline’s Family Still Waiting, Still Hurting
Rustenburg – The murder case of Solly “Moya” Molefe (22), accused of taking the life of Caroline Werner (31) in September 2022, has once again been postponed — this time to 19 November 2025.
The confirmation was shared by National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Sivenathi Gunya.
For Caroline’s mother, the latest delay was another emotional blow. Speaking to Platinum Weekly, she shared: “Another postponement — 19 November now,” she said.
“They still have to appoint an attorney for him because his Legal Aid contract expired. I keep telling myself to be strong, but some days it just feels impossible.”
Caroline’s family has now endured more than three years of court delays, each one reopening wounds that have never healed.
Caroline was described by those who knew her as a vibrant, joyful soul — a light extinguished far too soon. Her loved ones continue to fight for justice and to keep her memory alive.
