Rutanang Enrichment Centre unshaken by COVID-19
Rustenburg – Principal of Rutanang Primary Enrichment Centre Mr Isaac Pila has acknowledged the supportive role being played by parents, staff and the school governing body (SGB) since the COVID-19 induced lockdown.
Despite repeatedly opening and closing its doors several times due to COVID-19 complications, the school’s integrity and stature have remained solid. A series of informative parents’ meetings convened during this period as an intervention measure were well attended and Pila was encouraged by the positive attitude and adherence to social distancing regulations demonstrated by all stakeholders.
“It is very encouraging to note that our parents and other key stakeholders like our SGB have been behind us,” Pila said. “We will always strive to go out of our way so that we prioritise our learners. Our learners deserve the best from us. We will strive to make sure quality education is delivered accordingly.”
He reminded parents of Grade R learners to collect their Grade 1 application forms for 2021 from the school’s offices. The forms will be available during weekdays between 08:30 and 13:00 on a first come first serve basis. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 30 September.
