Perfect Harmony in Kraalhoek is more than just a riding school
Rustenburg – Nestled in the serene stretch of Section 12 in Kraalhoek, Rustenburg, there’s a special place where little riders grow in confidence, furry friends of all kinds roam freely, and horses are treated like royalty. Welcome to Perfect Harmony Equestrian Centre, a haven of connection between people and animals, and a true gem in our community.
Established in December 2018 by owners Manny and Juanette Fernandes, the centre is home to 24 well-loved horses and ponies, each with their own stable and a dedicated team making sure they’re happy, healthy, and thriving.
It’s not all trot and run though — running an equestrian centre takes heart and hustle. The daily rhythm at Perfect Harmony includes early-morning check-ins with every horse and pony, making sure those who need a little extra care get their treatments, preparing feed buckets, and ensuring that both animal and human clients are content. And the horses aren’t the only residents! The centre also houses a charming collection of small animals — chickens, geese, rabbits, and even ferrets — adding to the delight of visiting this peaceful place.
With 20 students currently enrolled, the team, led by stable manager Estelle Basson, focuses on creating an encouraging and uplifting environment. “At Perfect Harmony,” says Estelle, “we strive to ensure that our riders enjoy the sport with these amazing animals. We are a very relaxed riding school with the most beautiful views. Each rider receives individual attention in every lesson.”
