Karate Champions Strike Gold in Rustenburg

Rustenburg – The Tokon Shotokan Karate A/C Rustenburg proudly celebrated two of its finest athletes after their outstanding victories at the TSKKIA All Styles Competition, hosted at the Civic Centre from 1 to 3 August 2025.

Shihan Pieter Venter, a 4th Dan instructor, proved his mastery by winning double gold in Kumite and Kata, earning the title of International TSKKIA Champion in his division. Not to be outdone, Sensei Zanthe Fouché dominated the mats and beyond, walking away with 10 gold medals and a silver across categories including Kata, Kumite, Ju-Jitsu, archery, and sword techniques. Her performance crowned her as both Best Female and Overall TSKKIA Champion.
