Dr. Tlhowe wins top provincial education award 

Rustenburg – The Tlhabane West Primary School community is celebrating a moment of pride and joy after their headmaster, Dr. DD Tlhowe, won 1st place at the Provincial Level of the National Teaching Awards (NTA) in the category Excellence in Primary School Leadership. The announcement was made on Thursday, 28 August 2025, at the Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mafikeng.

This achievement is more than just a personal milestone. It is a reflection of Dr. Tlhowe’s years of dedication, vision, and leadership, which have transformed Tlhabane West Primary into a centre of learning excellence. Under his guidance, the school has blossomed academically while also becoming a hub for innovation and opportunity. Now, with the provincial title secured, all eyes turn to the national stage.
