Rustenburg – The spirit of compassion continues to shine in Rustenburg as locals rally once again to support Kevin Jansen van Vuuren, a young man whose story of resilience has touched countless hearts since a tragic car accident on the N4 in May 2023.

Kevin, who sustained severe injuries in the crash that claimed one life, has been fighting an extraordinary battle towards recovery — with courage, determination, and the unwavering support of his family and community. After years of rehabilitation and therapy, he continues to make steady progress, showing daily improvements that inspire everyone around him.

Now, a new fundraising initiative aims to keep his journey moving forward. Supporters can buy a raffle ticket for just R100 and stand a chance to win a whole lamb — with every cent going towards Kevin’s therapy, home carer, and medical bills.
