Under African Skies
Rustenburg/ Phokeng – On 8 October 2025, Lebone II College of the Royal Bafokeng hosted a spectacular Music Extravaganza: Under African Skies, bringing families, students, and staff together for a magical night beneath the stars.
Held in the scenic amphitheatre under the school’s new roof, the show celebrated heritage and creativity through song, dance, and storytelling. “The production showcased the remarkable talent and teamwork of our students, teachers, and support staff,” said lower school principal Petra Marais. Upper school principal Luciano Antonio added, “It was more than a musical — it was a celebration of family, culture, and unity. Together, we went far under African skies.” Executive head Melvin King praised the evening as “a vibrant celebration of creativity and a perfect start to the final term.” Parents called the performance “electric” and “beautiful.”
The night ended on a high note with Vicky Sampson’s ‘My African Dream’, a fitting finale to a performance that echoed the pride and heartbeat of Africa.
