Rustenburg – Three local martial artists have made their mark on the international stage, bringing home an impressive collection of medals at the TSKKIA International All Styles Championship, held in Rustenburg from 1–3 August 2025.

First-degree black belts Dillen Nel, Ockert Brits, and Trevon James showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination across multiple divisions — proving that Rustenburg’s dojo talent can stand proudly among the best in the world.

Main photo: Dillen Nel delivered an outstanding performance, earning four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze, and was recognised as both an International and National Champion. His powerful displays in Karate, Ju-Jitsu, and grappling have positioned him as one of the top fighters in the TSKKIA All Styles Federation.

Trevon James proves that perseverance pays off (another first-degree black belt); he clinched a gold medal and inspired spectators with his perseverance and passion for the sport.
