Rustenburg – On Sunday, 26 October 2025, thousands of cyclists took to the streets for the 28th edition of the 947 Ride Joburg Road Race — and once again, members of the Rustenburg Cycling Club (RCC) proudly joined the pack. Starting at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, riders tackled the scenic 97 km route weaving through Soweto, Sandton, Woodmead, Rivonia, and even the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The course’s highlights — from the Jukskei River to the Nelson Mandela Bridge — symbolically connected Johannesburg’s north and south, making it one of the country’s most inspiring city rides. Congratulations to all RCC members who represented our community with pride.
