Regina’s run of a lifetime!

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – A big congratulations to Regina Dube, representing Run/Walk For Life Rustenburg, on completing the Burj2Burj – Dubai’s iconic half marathon (21.1 km) in a superb time of 2:22! 

The Burj2Burj Half Marathon – held on Sunday 8 February 2026 – Is one of the Gulf region’s standout running events, famed for its fast, flat route, spectacular skyline views and electric early-morning atmosphere that sees thousands of runners from around the world link the towering landmarks of central Dubai before finishing near the Burj Al Arab on Sunset Beach. 

Regina’s achievement not only showcases her dedication and training, but also puts a spotlight on Rustenburg’s vibrant running community.
