Majakaneng – In a heartfelt initiative, Word of Motive organised a prayer on Sunday 5 November 2023 at the Majakaneng Community Hall, seeking divine intervention for the alarming rates of crime, rapes, and killings in their communities. During the prayer, 30 Bibles, along with food and clothing items were given to those in need. The success of the day was amplified by the generosity of Triple M, who contributed water, funds, and Bibles. Additional support was received from Lechwe company, the Afrikaans Language and Culture Association (ATKV), and Cobus Jacobs, who donated clothes, water, and funds to purchase food for those in need.

Word of Motive was founded in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic while churches were shut down. The registered non-profit church organisation was put together by different church leaders who, through WhatsApp, prayed and preached for the sick, and motivated community members not to lose hope. The organisation soon realised that it had to do more to help vulnerable community members in and around Rustenburg. The organisation then registered as an NPO in order to collect funds to help those in need. The organisation has many families who turn to them for help, and as often as possible, the church members aid the families out of their own pockets, but the organisation needs assistance to further help their cause.
