Did you know?
Did you know that golf has literally gone out of this world? In 1971, astronaut Alan Shepard took a modified six-iron to the Moon during NASA’s Apollo 14 mission and hit two golf balls on the lunar surface. Because there’s no air resistance and only one-sixth of Earth’s gravity, his second swing is said to have travelled more than 600 yards! It remains the longest — and most unique — golf shot in history. Proof that no matter where you are, a good swing can take you far!
