Help bring joy to 120 elders this December

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Brits — This festive season, the community is once again called to unite in kindness as Word of Motive, under the compassionate leadership of Archbishop Ratshwene of the Catholic Apostolic Christian Brethren Church in Modderspruit, prepares a heartfelt outreach to the residents of Sonop Old Age Home.

On Sunday, 14 December 2025, Word of Motive will visit the home to distribute Christmas party packs and refreshments to 120 elderly residents, ensuring that our elders feel appreciated, remembered, and uplifted during the holiday season.

According to the official notice (dated 27 November 2025), the organisation is asking for donations of drinks, while the message shared further requests sweets, fruits, biscuits, and any other contributions that can help bring joy to the elders on this special day. Community members, businesses, churches, and organisations are warmly invited to assist by donating items suitable for festive party packs. Contributions for 120 people will be gratefully welcomed.
