Spreading hope this Christmas

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – AlmalHelpAlmalVlerke Rustenburg is a small NPC with a big heart, helping struggling families, children, and elderly residents. The team provides food, clothing, furniture, baby formula, nappies, and toiletries to those who need it most.

This year, Vlerke is running two special Christmas projects:

Restoring an Elderly Care Centre

Vlerke is assisting a local caregiver who supports elderly residents on limited SASSA income. Their goal is to make the centre safe, warm, and dignified.

Items needed: Beds, bedding, pillows, interior and exterior paint, floor tiles, grout, concrete mix, rugs, and simple wall décor to brighten the residents’ rooms.

Christmas Blessing for 63 Children

Vlerke hopes to host a small Christmas party and give each child a gift — bringing joy where it’s needed most. 

Any donation — big or small — helps Vlerke continue lifting others.
