Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – In every community, our strength is measured not only by how we live together, but by how we care for one another in moments of loss. This week, Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital (JSTH) has made a heartfelt appeal to the public, asking for help in tracing the families and next of kin of patients who sadly passed away while under its care.

According to a media release issued on 5 January 2026, the hospital is seeking assistance from community members, neighbours, churches, civic organisations, and anyone who may have information that could help reconnect families with their loved ones who have died.

The hospital has released the names of the deceased patients whose next of kin have not yet been located. They include:

  • Isaac Boikanyo (born 16 February 1982, passed away 17 November 2025)
  • Michael Bornly (born 20 March 1976, passed away 7 August 2025)
  • Andre Kapp (born 29 January 1959, passed away 20 December 2025)
  • Zolile Mboniswa (born 10 December 1958, passed away 20 December 2025)
  • Santos Mothuki (born 20 March 1973, passed away 22 September 2025)
  • Tshepo Ncube (born 6 June 1969, passed away 7 November 2025)
  • Relebogile Fokotsang (born 11 March 1993, passed away 10 December 2025)
  • Nomsa Sibiya (born 25 December 1978, passed away 1 December 2025)
  • Joseph Sithole (born 7 March 1958, passed away 20 September 2025)
  • Mpho Tladi (born 19 September 1991, passed away 20 September 2025)

In addition, the hospital is also seeking relatives of:

  • An unknown male patient who passed away on 3 May 2025.
  • Three infants listed as “Baby to a Parent”, whose families have not yet been traced:
  • Baby to Benolde Matsovele (passed away 9 May 2025)
  • Baby to Elda Ncube (passed away 8 December 2025)
  • Baby to Maria Kgosing (passed away 19 December 2025)
