See you at the Light Festival!
Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – The Silwerrand Schools Light Festival is officially underway — join the magic before it ends this Saturday, 6 December.
The festival, running from 2 to 6 December 2025, opened with excitement as families poured in to enjoy the glowing displays.
On the opening night, Madith Sebatana, attending with her granddaughter Barbara van Rooyen, shared: “The atmosphere was absolutely magical! Events like these truly bring our community together.”

Entrance is R20 per person plus any non-perishable food item, supporting Rustenburg Child and Family Welfare.
