Farm attack in Swartruggens

Swartruggens – In yet another farm attack, this time at the farm Twee Riviere in Swartruggens, an aged man was overpowered in his house on Saturday, 2 December.

Three suspects gained entry into the house of EJK Goetsh (83) at around 22h00. Goetsh was tied up and held at gunpoint. 

The suspects demanded valuables and got away with a great number of household items, a cell phone and a white double cab Colt bakkie, registration number, FGY 620 NW.

Says seargent Kelebogile Moleko, police spokesperson: “Thus far, no suspects have been arrested and the investigation is on-going.”
