Phokeng/ Sun City – The Moses Kotane Local Municipality (MKLM) golf day raised R110 000 during the event’s second year, hosted at the Sun City’s Gary Player Country Club golf course on 11 April.

MKLM in partnership with Sun City Resorts staged an event with the aim to provide financial assistance for academically deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds residing in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality jurisdiction.

In his keynote address, MKLM Mayor Ralesole Diale expressed his sincere appreciation to the general manager of Sun City Resorts, Raul De Lima, for demonstrating great leadership by redirecting his focus to stakeholder engagement since he took over as the general manager.

“We have students in engineering, accounting, hospitality and other fields of study who are beneficiaries of the MKLM mayoral fund and it is made possible by the help of Sun City and other sponsors. Words cannot explain my utmost gratitude,’ said Diale.
