Zinniaville soccer 
team wins big

Rustenburg – Zinniaville Secondary School were crowned champions of the u/19 Football Platinum Series after defeating Hoërskool Grenswag by 1-0 in a lively match. 

The game, which was played at the Grenville High School soccer grounds on Saturday 20 July, was a closely contested encounter with both teams showing a clear determination to win.

Thabang Rokgorro’s goal in the first half is what separated the two sides and saw Zinniaville Secondary School lifting the prestigious cup. To reach the finals, Zinniaville Secondary School had beaten Grenville High School 1-0 with Reabetswe Modimokwane netting the winner.

Zinniaville Secondary School’s u/16 boys put up a brave effort but finished as runners-up to Hoër Tegniese Skool Rustenburg in the final.
