North West – Three men who were among the North West province’s most wanted criminals, are now behind bars after they were nabbed during a two-day raiding operation by the police. 


A total of 249 culprits were arrested for various offences during the operation, which started on Wednesday 17 July and ended the following day. 


Among the suspects taken into custody are Thabiso Selloane (22), Michael Ntshingila (33) and Farai Ndambani (22), who have all been linked to serious crimes. 


Thabiso and Michael stand accused of rape and were both remanded in custody when they appeared separately in different magistrate courts. Farai is accused of murder, which occurred in Hartbeespoortdam in 2013.


The other suspects arrested during the operation were charged with crimes such as assault, common robbery, malicious damage to property, theft, business robberies as well as crimes against women and children. They have made court appearances at the various magistrate courts.
