Climbing the karate ranks

Rustenburg – Sunday 7 July is a day that is likely to linger in the memory of tokon shotokan karate instructor sensei Andre Fourie for a long time to come. 

On this day, his hard work, dedication and commitment resulted in him being promoted to the rank of shihan within martial arts federation Traditional Styles Known Knowledge in Action (TSKKIA). The recognition of shihan Andre also came as a result of his ability to produce black belt students of a very high standard.

The promotion was handed to him by kancho Albert Venter, the founder of tokon shotokan karate and TSKKIA.
