The municipality does not care
[Letter to the editor]

Rustenburg – After begging en pleading to an indifferent Rustenburg Local Municipality [RLM] I am now writing this open letter to the public.

I am sure I am not the only taxpayer who has to endure the terrible smell from the raw sewerage flowing past my kitchen window. 

For more than two weeks now, the sewerage has been bubbling up in Bokmakierie Street, which is located in the Cashan area of Rustenburg. 

We informed the RLM, but they have not done a single thing about it, leaving us to suffer this unbearable stench. 

Why has the municipality taken no action? It seems that they have forgotten about us.
