Strong wind damages store at Platinum Square

Rustenburg – On 3 December, the Highveld experienced gale force winds that resulted in the collapse of a part of the roof and wall of the Sportsman’s Warehouse store at Platinum Square shopping centre.

 
Thankfully there were no injuries, although customers and staff on scene received support. 
An investigation continues to assure the building’s readiness for the coming rainy season.

Platinum Square is open and trading, however Sportsman’s Warehouse will remain closed for the time being.
