Elderly couple brutally assaulted, robbed

Rustenburg – On Friday 20 March, an elderly couple was violently assaulted by suspects who had illegally entered their home, situated in Klopper Street.

According to police spokesperson sergeant Ofentse Mokgadi, the couple was attacked and assaulted by two unknown suspects. The suspects then proceeded to rob them of various items before they fled the scene.

The elderly couple was rushed to the hospital. Investigations continue.
