Helping schools to fight COVID-19

Koster – ABSA in partnership with Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality, donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to various schools in a move that will go a long way in curbing the spread of COVID-19.

Hand sanitiser, face masks and infrared thermometers were handed over to the schools on Friday 4 September as part of efforts by the municipality’s mayor, councillor Amos Selaledi, to assist educational institutions to limit the spread of the pandemic. The mayor was assisted by ABSA representatives Dave Monene and Brian Bogopa to hand over the PPE to educators from Mazista Primary School, Marema Combined School, Kgalagatsane Primary School, Moedwill Combined School and Reebone Secondary School.
