Brits – Since 2018 Engen has adopted 37 schools and reached 18,084 schoolgirls. On 31 March, 134 learners at Bakwena Secondary School in Brits received hygiene hampers, ensuring that the girls remain in school during their monthly menstrual cycles for the remainder of the year.
 
In November 2020, Engen committed R1million to the Caring4Girls feminine hygiene initiative, ensuring that 5,270 schoolgirls approach their monthly menstrual cycles with confidence and dignity. This follows a R2.5 million pledge made by Engen to Caring4Girls in 2018. 

The girls at Bakwena Secondary School in Brits received sanitary hampers.
