First aid training at BGO 

Rustenburg – Learners at Rustenburg Skool vir Buitengewone Onderwys were taken through a first aid training course at the school on Friday 28 May 2020 by two educators from Vastrap.

Juan-Dré Havenga and Danielo Blignaut took 15 learners through the course and presented them with a certificate and a basic first aid toolkit.

Havenga and Blignaut – who urged the learners to always prioritise safety during any emergency situation – also answered their questions after the course.  

Educator at Rustenburg Skool vir Buitengewone Onderwys, Colleen Robbertse, explained why first aid training is very important to learners. “We have a theme in our curriculum, basic first aid, so this training course is in line with that. A big thank you to Laerskool Vastrap and Biblio Plaza, who donated the first aid kits.”
