Rustenburg – The Timbati Veld Market has taken Rustenburg by storm and with the massive success of the previous two, the date for the third market has been set.

Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday 2 July and visit the market near the veld on the corner of Nylrivier and Timbati street, Cashan.

The market day is aimed at raising funds to support various organisations in the community. It is a platform were community-based organisations can raise funds, and local companies and entrepreneurs can showcase their products and services. With so many stalls to choose from and just as many organisations to support, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

For the youngsters there will be jumping castles to play on while the grownups do their shopping.
A great new edition the market is the Potjiekos competition. With teams competing for the title of the Timbati Market Potjie champion you can be sure of great fun and great food. The food will also not go to waste as you are allowed to bring visitors. The entry fee is R50, and the pot has to be a number 6 pot.
