Wonderkop Smelter, Bokamoso Sinter Plant, Rustenburg Area, North West

Duties:

The incumbent will be responsible to the Plant Engineer for:

• Controlling all maintenance activities and ensuring optimum plant availability
• Maintenance plan of all plant equipment and electrical high-tension systems
• Accurate data and information as well as selection of equipment
• Planning, compiling and controlling budget
• Improving plant performance by proactively participating in problem-solving activities
• Developing and implementing alternatives to ensure improvements of Plant Maintenance principles
• Implementing root cause failure analysis findings
• Ensuring continuous improvement of cost-saving initiatives
• Participating in Maintenance Strategies to improve plant performance
• Leading the Maintenance team on a day-to-day basis, working in cohesion with Production team
• Complying with all relevant legislation
• R&D projects.

Requirements:

• National Diploma/BEng Mechanical Engineering
• MDP or SMDP from a reputable institution will be an added advantage
• GCC factories qualification would be an added advantage
• 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Process environment.
